Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by pets most of my life and I would not have it any other way. I have experience walking dogs and dog and cat sitting. I am comfortable taking care of large/extra large dogs.

Kathleen was great about giving update with how Duke and her dog Porter were getting along - even through a power outage! I felt secure knowing he was having a great time and came home to a tired but happy pup.

I have a fenced yard and live close to many hiking trails and a nice river. My own dog is very friendly and welcoming to other animals. I only watch one dog at time.

Let me know if your dog has any dietary restrictions, is sensitive to any environmental factors, or is generally anxious. The more information I know about the dog, the better. Does your dog prefer dogs one on one, do they not like the dog park, or do they get very nervous around large men? All quirks and traits are great information to have along with the basics.
A typical day
I love hiking and I love bringing along my dog friends with me on hikes. I love exploring new places in safe ways. There is a river within walking distance to my house and it is a great and safe place to let dogs swim and enjoy themselves. I enjoy running around the yard with dogs, playing catch, and just letting dogs get their zoomies out. A nice treat puzzle is a great way to keep dogs active during rainy days.

I currently I work from home so I am home for most of the day. I am available for sitting and doggy day care on week days and most weekends.
