Hi, I'm Kathleen. I've been a dog owner all my life. I recently lost both my beautiful 13 yr old Boxer / Lab mixes and though I will not likely get another, I still need pups of all ages in my life. I love all breeds, but admittedly have a special fondness for the Boxer. I believe in the dog walking me, not the other way around; meaning it's your pet's time to enjoy the sights, sounds and wonders of the experience. I'm just along to keep him safe. I am comfortable with all breeds. I look forward to meeting, caring for and chilling out with your best friend as though he were mine.

Kathleen was amazing! This was our first time using Rover (and our first time boarding our pups!) Kathleen made us feel extremely comfortable, answered all of our questions, and kept us updated with pictures, videos and stories! Our two large puppies can be a handful, but Kathleen had no problem earning their trust and handling their bursts of energy. After we picked up our dogs, they were so tired from playing in the fenced yard that they slept for the rest of the day! Looking forward to booking with Kathleen again!! Thank you!
I have never felt more at ease with someone taking care of my baby while I’m gone. It’s like my dog had his own little vacation while I went away, he was so happy and relaxed when I came to pick him up. It made me so happy to see him so loved! Kathleen kept me updated throughout his stay and was very communicative. Highly recommend!

While visiting in your home my attention will be focused entirely on your pet, whether that is a walk around the neighborhood, playing in the yard or chilling out with belly rubs. While at my home, your pet will be treated as though he were mine. I have a doggy door and your pet will have the freedom to come in or out as he wishes. I like to play fetch, brush, and give belly rubs so there will be lots of interaction to assist in keeping your pet at ease. If the situation occurs that I am asked to care for a pet of another family while first caring for yours, I will first ensure that your pet is comfortable with the 'new guy' before I accept.

A typical day
Some pups like walks in the greenbelt, others the neighborhood, still some like to run in the dog park. I enjoy all three, so it's really up to your fur buddy. I love to play 'find' (treat treasure hunt), not only does it stimulate your pups mind, but gives him a healthy snack. A good brushing and coat massage stimulates the body and last but not least - the belly rub.
