Pet care experience
I have grown up with pets always being a part of my life. Growing up, my parents always included me with basic care for our pets like feeding and walking. About 5 years ago I began pet-sitting for people while they went on vacation. I have also helped a few families with drop in visits during the day while they have been at work. I have encountered and experienced so many different animals at this point and each of their unique personalities. I have a great love for all animals. I am currently in the midst of preparing for a big move and in between jobs. I have a flexible schedule and can be available at many different times throughout the week. I know that pets are apart of the family and that it is a big privilege to be trusted to care for them. I hope to have a great sense of mutual trust and open communication with any family I am serving.

Kathleen is wonderful! She so easy to work with and flexible with whatever our needs are. Even our anxious dog liked her right away.
She was great with Bentley and sent communication and pictures the whole time making us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Kathleen.
Kathleen has been stepping in to care for our dog for several years. She is highly responsible, very comfortable with animals, a great problem solver, calm and personable. Our high energy lab LOVES her, and she is very competent in dealing with his needs (lots of running, fetch, meals, medications, etc). I've worked with Kathleen in multiple capacities and always find her to be a delight!
From my wife and I's experience she has been tremendous with our dog Jake as well as our dogs that came before him. She is very reliable and the dogs just loved her. We feel totally comfortable with her taking care of our dogs when we are needing that assistance including over night when we are gone. It is definitely nice to know what to expect with your pet, especially when I am by myself with them. I like to hear about any and all quirks they may have and how to best navigate certain behaviors of theirs I may come across. I have come across many different dogs with all very different personalities so I am ready to be flexible when it comes to being with them.
A typical day
I love to know what your pet is used to and expects in their daily routine so I can best emulate that while their owners are away. I really love walking and it’s always great to have a fury companion with me. I’ve experienced walking extremely high energy dogs, and elderly dogs who need to walk more slowly.
