I am a cat owner and prospective dog owner. The only thing that is stopping me from having my own dog is the rules for the building I live in. I've read many books on dog and puppy care so that I'm ready once I move to a new home. For now, I'd love to help you out by taking your dog on walks and checking in on them. I've cared for friends dogs and am comfortable around dogs. I am also very experienced with cats and would be happy to check in on your cat for you. I've petsit cats of all temperaments (ranging from cuddly to "don't touch me"), so I'm not bothered by cats that aren't very social. I work an office job from home, so I tend to schedules walks/visits for my lunch break or the evening. I have my calendar set to 1 walk per day, but if your dog requires more than one feel free to contact me. The main reason for this setting is to prevent the app from double booking me. When entering your home, whether for a walk or a visit, I will always be respectful. If I'm picking up a dog for a walk I will call them to the door and not enter into your home farther than necessary. If I'm there for a visit I will remove my shoes and only enter the agreed upon and necessary rooms. I will always ensure that the door is locked and the key is returned to the lockbox or other specified location at the end of the visit.
