Pet care experience
I am an animal lover without a furry friend of my own these days. So, I would like to spend my time taking care of those friends who need me as their families go out of town or spend time at the office . I am proud to have had several of my very own furry bundles of joy, and have taken care of many others when their families needed me. I am very calm and loving. I like to play fetch with a willing partner and walks are an integral part of every day. Dog parks are great fun, and getting dirty is never a problem (as long as there is a towel handy to clean us up!).

Kathleen was fantastic to work with. This was our first time hiring someone to come into our house to pet-sit and we're glad it was with Kathleen. We have a lot of pets and she handled all of them! She left the house spotless. We will definitely hire her again, and we highly recommend her.

I have dog sat for many breeds from Bassett Hounds to Greyhounds. One client has 2 Great Danes and a Chihuahua... guess who rules the house? I like to know as much as I can about an animal before sitting for them. What do they like to do, what makes they nervous or scared? How have they reacted in the past to being left with a sitter? What are their favorite toys and games? What is their regular schedule? Obviously I would want to know if they have any injuries or illnesses and if they get overly anxious about thunderstorms or being alone.
A typical day
Walking can be done in a neighborhood (anywhere with a nice sidewalk) or in a park. If your dog likes to ride in the car, we can find a dog park in which to play. If your dog likes to fetch, I will throw. If your dog likes to tug, I will hang on to my end of the toy! The main thing is to make sure your dog is active during the time we have together and that they get some cuddle time too so they know they are still in good care.
