Hi! I'm Kathleen, a 35-year-old college graduate living in Tewksbury. I have lived with and cared for a German shepherd for the last 19 consecutive years. I have a genuine love for dogs and interest in gaining experience with other breeds. I have experience with training and walking dogs and can walk a dog properly on a leash. My professional resume includes dogsitting for two 4 year old male boxers, walking a 2 year old labradoodle and caring for a 5 month old husky pup since 8 weeks. I’ve also done drop in visits and training with a 1 year old german shepherd. I have a family that I do weekend and overnight sitting for an 11 year old yellow lab occasionally as well. While Kathleen took good care of Dolly physically, based on before and after counts of medications, I don't think she was given any of her medications, including her pain medication, during the stay.
Kathleen is super sweet, reliable, and great with my dog Ronin! She’s great with frequently letting you know what’s going on throughout the day by sending pictures and updates at every stay! I would definitely recommend her for your pets!
I would highly recommend Kathleen as a dog sitter for your furry family member. Kathleen grew up with German Shepherds and is a natural around all dogs- large or small or anywhere in between. Kathleen has been a pet sitter for several years and really cares about her furry friends. She keeps open communication by way of texting pics etc You’ll be quite satisfied with her pet sitting services.
Kathleen is awesome! She absolutely loves dogs, she’s responsible, trustworthy and consistent. Whether it’s just letting the dog out in the yard, changing food and water, actually staying and hanging out, doing walks. She excels at all of it. She’s especially sensitive to senior dogs.

I live in a townhouse in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for long walks! Potty breaks would have to be on a leash. I spend all my time with dogs that I’m watching and let them out for potty breaks every 0-2 hours.

I'd like to know what kind of dog you own out of curiosity and their age. I don't have any breed preferences but I am extremely experienced with german shepherds as I've lived with 2 different shepherds over the last 19 years.
A typical day
I'd take your dog on walls around your neighborhood or a local walking path/area. I'm familiar with a few great places to take your dog for walks and to play fetch! If you're comfortable with it I would bring your dog to the dog park to socialize.

I’m currently a stay at home mom with plenty of flexibility in my schedule and routine. Other than occasional doctors appointments during the week, I’m free!
