Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner for approximately 15 years, with most of my experience being with small dogs. I currently have a 3 year old miniature dachshund and a 5 year old cat. I will have several weekdays off a week and 3 weekends of the month are generally free making my schedule accommodating to work best for your pet. I love walks and nature, and my very energetic dog has made me a pro at playing fetch. I would like to be able to walk your dog or babysit them for the day while you're at work to give you the same peace of mind I have when I know someone is checking in on my pup for the day! I hate for her to be bored or feel cooped up, so I understand why you would want that for your own pet - they are family.

My breed preferences include smaller dogs, preferably under 30lbs. This size is more manageable for me, and something I am more comfortable with. And if your dog is going to spend the day with me, the smaller breed will get along with my dog as she does not get along with large breeds. Before sitting a dog, I would like to know how well they are trained to be on a leash, if they are ever off leash, and if they are crate trained. Potty training is also a priority.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog for walks around lovely downtown Howell, or if you live in a sub exploring your dog's home turf may be ideal as well. If your dog loves to play fetch, we can do that in a yard for a bit before returning inside to get all the wiggles out.
