Pet care experience
I was a dedicated dog mom to rescue Jack Russell Terriers. In addition to caring for my own dogs I have also been a volunteer dog walker, foster home and dog sitter for various dogs and cats of all types and breeds. I have a special love for terriers and a soft spot for all rescue dogs. I enjoy interactive play, visits to the Bay and Beach and cuddling with your furry friend. I booked with Kathleen a few times over a short period with lots of work travel and events. But knowing my dog was happy and well taken care of with Kathleen put my mind at ease! Copper was excited to go back to Kathleen, and seemed to enjoy walks on the beach and in the Breezy Point neighborhood.
Kat was a great host for our older lady pitbull over a holiday. Felt at ease leaving her in Kat's care, and appreciated the photos during her stay. Communications with Kat were always easy, clear, and timely before and during the booking. Thank you Kat!

Dogs have free reign of the house and are allowed on any/all furniture (as long as that fits with your own training/preferences. I try to mirror their home environment, schedule and routine as closely as possible.

My daughter is very respectful of all animals. However, since she is preschool age I can only accept dogs that are family friendly. Please let me know your dogs level of exposure and comfort with children.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy walks along the Bay and Beach and all the outdoor fun a private beach neighborhood offers. We'll enjoy games of tug of war, fetch or training and tricks sessions with treats.

I work from home and only board one dog at a time (unless they are siblings) so your dog with have a constant companion for all their needs.
