I’m a nanny, so my schedule is very flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of pet sitting needs such as daily visits, walks, feeding, and playtime. However, I prefer not to provide overnight boarding services in my own home. I’m happy to work around your schedule to ensure your pet receives consistent, reliable care while you’re away.

When caring for pets in my home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live on an acre of fenced-in land with a privacy fence, providing plenty of secure space for pets to play and explore without risk of escape. I prefer to provide pet care in the client’s home to ensure pets remain comfortable and in familiar surroundings. I prioritize safety by carefully following each owner’s instructions and giving there fur friend plenty of time to explore and exercise (walks, playing with toys, etc.)

Before I care for your pet, it’s helpful to know a few key things to make sure I can give them the best experience possible. I’d love to know their feeding schedule, dietary needs, and whether they have any allergies. It’s also important to understand their bathroom routine, medical needs, and any medications they might require. Getting a sense of their personality—whether they’re playful, shy, anxious, or reactive—helps me tailor my care. Let me know any commands they know, house rules I should follow, and how much exercise or playtime they’re used to. Comfort items like favorite toys or blankets can make a big difference, and having your contact info, a backup emergency contact, and your vet’s number on hand is always a good idea. All of this helps me create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for your pet while you’re away.
A typical day
I love to keep your pets happy, active, and engaged—both physically and mentally. Whether it’s playing fun games, exploring new sights and smells on a walk, or simply enjoying some quiet cuddle time, I tailor the experience to each pet’s personality. I have a safe, cozy environment and a big park nearby for outdoor adventures, as well as an acre of fenced in backyard and I’m always ready to give them the attention, stimulation, and love they need while you’re away.

Since a young age, Kathleen has always been interested in all animals & their welfare. She has a variety of pets & enjoys taking care of all animals & is intuitive about their needs & care requirements. That includes playing with them & going the extra mile to insure they have everything they need & an enjoyable time spent with her. She cares about animals so much, she became involved in her local pet shelter & even went through a screening process to be able to take a dog for the day from the shelter & then got all her friends involved too. They each pick a dog & spoil them for a day , walking them along the river, & getting them pup cups & just loving & doting on each dog, trying to give them the best day ever & a break from being in the kennel all day. I have seen the way she cares for her pets, as well as her helping me care for my own pets. She is great with all animals & has a calming, loving demeanor with each pet, making sure they get special treatment from her. She has experience with a variety of animals in tanks/cages. She also has experience in medicating pets & has potty trained dogs as well. If you hire Kathleen, she will follow all your instructions & make sure your pet has excellent care, especially due to the attention she will give your pets, spoiling them with cuddles, & doing their favorite things. She is observant & detail oriented, so if your pet is behaving differently or unusually, she will notice & get help. She will leave a thorough note for you in your Rover card, so you’ll be aware of everything that happened during the visit& how she spoiled your pet! I cannot say enough about how amazing she is with all animals & enthusiastic about both their care & safety. You will NOT be disappointed; in fact, you won’t hire anyone else after you’ve used her once!
