I’m Kathleen and I love dogs. There isn’t anything in the world that will make you feel better than a kiss from a pup. I love the nature of dogs, the companionship they offer us and the beauty of each individual pet. I also really enjoy learning about different breeds and pet personalities. After I began working at Wild Pet Provisions in Portland, it became clear to me that I absolutely love being around pets and trying to bring a little joy into their lives everyday. I would love a chance to put pet owners at ease by bringing my loving nature to their fur babies in their absence. I know how hard it is to be away from your furry loved one, so I’ll be in frequent communication. I'll send pictures and videos throughout our time together, letting you know what we get up to. I will give your pet love as if they were my own! I will always check with the owner about the normal routine and try to stick to that as closely as possible. I will also try to get approval about any adventures, activities, treats, etc. before she's in my care. I have two dogs of my own, a 10 year old Pug-A-Mo (Pug and American Eskimo mix) named Cecil and a one year old English Bulldog named Lady. I've had Cecil since he was 11 months old and Lady since she was 3.5 months old, so I have experience with puppies and seniors. I am also experienced and comfortable in giving medication to pets and would be happy to care for your pup who might need a little extra attention. If your dog has a behavioral issue, don’t be afraid to contact me as I’ve worked with animals of every temperament and with pups who are a bit trickier to handle. In addition to my experience with dogs, I’m familiar with our feline friends, too.. I love cats and don't have any of my own, but have cared for cats in the past. I give them the love they need and am familiar with their personalities enough to know what is needed. I am open to learning more about caring for other pets, too! I can’t wait to meet you!
