When my health took a sudden turn a few years back, the opportunity opened up to work from home. I decided to start a doggy daycare—my dogs love to play with other dogs, so I thought this would be a great way to add some extra activity into their lives as well. I also know how guilty I felt leaving my dogs at home all day while I went to work, so I want to help some local families have peace of mind knowing their dog is having a blast while they are away! Now I’m expanding what I’ve been doing for years by working with Rover. I live with my fiancé and our two miniature pinschers, Cisco and Baby Girl. My fiancé will be home on the evenings and weekends—he loves dogs as much as I do! Our home is in a new development called Santa Fe Trails. We have a large open floor plan that gives dogs lots of room to run, plus a doggy door out to the fenced yard. We even installed a dig-defense system along the fence to prevent the dogs from digging out. My expertise with dogs is one of my greatest assets as a sitter. On top of raising Cisco and Baby Girl and running my own doggie daycare, I also took my old English mastiff through several training courses from puppy through intermediate obedience training. If your dog comes to stay with me, they’ll get plenty of playtime! Cisco and Baby Girl will keep your pup busy, and I have plenty of toys, from balls to ropes to antlers and everything in between. I love to get down on the floor to play with pups. We have a very laid-back household—we don’t mind pets on the furniture. If it’s okay with you, we can even take a trip to the dog park! I consider a meet-and-greet essential. We need to make sure that my dogs will get along with yours and that they’ll all become good friends! I am very flexible, and can accommodate your dog for a few hours or several days. Cisco, Baby Girl, and I are all very excited to meet you soon!
