Hello fellow Pet Parents... I'm Kathleen, and thank you for looking at my profile! I have 11 years of animal care taking experience, and growing up as a child in a home of animal love and care... I have always had a deep affection and kinship for animals of all types and breeds. I come from a family of a dog breeder, which is where my passion and love for dogs began. My mother has bred Great Pyrenees for over 25 years. Growing up in that environment, I was constantly helping in the kennel, with the puppy litters and the larger dogs including, walking, feeding, bathing, grooming, etc, and or course, having so much play time! Some of my own more recent pets have ranged more to cats and kittens, which as quirky as they are, are loved like they are my kids- and such crazy kids at many times:)) I have also been involved with some rescue/volunteer work for neglected and/or abused animals. One in particular other than cats and dogs, was a rescue organization for a herd of severely neglected horses. I definetly have a spot in my heart for rescue animals of all types. In addition to my recent years of pet sitting, I have previous experience from working at two Animal Hospitals, both on the east coast, Northern Virginia (where I am originally from). Whatever your pet needs are, I am sensitive, attentive, and communicative to you, to make them as comfortable and as happy as they can be!
