Pet care experience
I have quite a bit of experience with takIng care of other people's dogs. I have watched their dogs for up to 4 weeks at a stretch 24/7. I have also walked dogs on a daily basis. I had my previous, Boston Terrier, for 17 years. He was very special to me and we enjoyed such a great life together. I would take him everywhere with me and we would walk miles every day. I will look forward to giving your dog this type of special care and will be around the house when your dog is in my care. Any special diet that you would like to bring for your dog, I will make sure he gets only that diet. I believe dogs have a special kind of communication and I enjoy being part of that.

Kathie and her husband are INCREDIBLE! They have a true passion for animals and I was so happy our pup was able to stay with them for the weekend while we were out of town. This was our first time leaving Layla with a sitter and we were 100% happy with our decision . They are very sweet and caring people. Kathie sent great pics of Layla while we were away. Layla was having a blast! Would definitely request Kathie again. :)
Gunner had a great time with Kathie and her husband! We appreciated it so much that she was available on such short notice and was so accommodating with our drop off and pick up times! Kathie is the first person Gunner has stayed with besides family and seemed to be right at home immediately. We can't thank Kathie and her husband enough for keeping our little guy entertained and happy while we were away.
This was my first time using Rover and WOW I really lucked out finding Kathie. She watched my 11 year old Frenchie at her house for 5 nights. Kathie sent me daily pictures and always made sure to keep me updated on how Chloe was doing. Kathie and her husband we're very sweet and took wonderful care of Chloe. I will definitely be using them for future stays.
Kathie was an excellent sitter for our dog, Riley! She is great to work with: responsive to meeting prior to our booking, corresponding with us throughout our dog’s stay and in our pickup. She was very attentive to Riley, walking him several times a day and sent several pictures of him during his stay. We will definitely use her again!

I do not have any breed preference. I would like to make sure that the dog knows to go outside to relieve itself and will not have any accidents, unless of course, the dog is sick and could not help it. I would also want to make sure that the dog has flea and tick treatments on a regular basis and that the dog is friendly. Meaning that the dog will not bite!
A typical day
We will walk all around my neighborhood. I live in a very nice townhouse and the grounds have beautiful old trees everywhere with plenty of shade. I also live down the block from very nice nature trails that I walk on a lot. I love to play ball with dogs. I also like to play with any toys that the dog might like to play tug with. My previous, dog, loved to play ball and tug with me on his toys all the time. I walked miles with him every day because he was a very athletic energetic dog. Finally, I enjoy being around dogs and will love to take care of your dog and make sure he gets out on walks frequently.
