My love for animals has shaped my life ever since I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian. I grew up begging my parents for a golden retriever, writing my 3rd grade persuasive paper on why the retriever was the perfect family dog. A few months later, we adopted our first puppy, a Pomeranian we named Bailey, and despite the vast differences in breed, I adored him. Another Pom followed a few years later and I now own my own 7lb terrier mix, Maisy. I worked at a national animal hospital for 1 1/2 years as a kennel assistant until I was promoted to a veterinary assistant which I enjoyed doing for 2 years. I studied animal science and behavior in college, and with my passion for veterinary medicine I was accepted into veterinary school but decided to follow my love for animals in different ways and have enjoyed this side of caring for pets. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and love to get to know each dog's unique personality. I'm a runner so love to add in runs and lots of walks if your pet loves extra exercise. I love playing, cuddling, and getting to know your dog's quirks so we can be goofy and have fun together. I am comfortable giving meds and any other special attention. I am very organized, clean, and detail-oriented so your house will also be in good hands. I am excited to give your pup a fun time so you know they're taken care!
