I've always been a dog lover. As a kid, I was the type that my parents had to watch to make sure I wasn't approaching any and every dog I could. As an adult, not much has changed and I still can't resist a wagging tail (or nub) and a wet nose. I'd say the one change is that my knowledge and experience working with animals (not just dogs) has grown exponentially. I am a trained groomer with my own tools, and I've worked with strays and animals in need of help in various ways- from volunteering haircuts at the shelter to keeping baby birds safe while they learn to fly. With me you can be sure you've found someone that has a ton of experience and passion for animals, who won't back down from most any situation. From cats to rats to chickens and horses, there's not much I shy away from so if you have a non conventional companion animal, I'm still the girl for the job. Because I'm a caretaker for my grandfather (who doesn't need full time assistance), my schedule is very flexible and accommodating, and I can send as many pictures as you'd like to keep you up to date on your pet so you can rest easy while they are in my care. As I mentioned before I am a groomer and I'm happy to provide grooming for your furry friend as well but prices are too variable to set on the profile so we can discuss that and set a rate we both feel comfortable with(: A note on dog size: while I am happy to care for dogs of any and all sizes, in my home I will need to be a little stricter moving forward- to ensure the most comfortable experience for all dogs involved. I do have my profile set to accept dogs up to 15 pounds, but that is flexible. In the past at a 40 pound limit I was accepting (and loving) dogs as much as 20 lbs above that range. So, even tho its set to small, I can accept up to a beagle mix size dog, around 35 lbs. In your home though, I am still happy to watch any size animal (:
