About Aristotle

Ari is a very outgoing dog. He adores people, and assumes that everyone adores him. He will jump up, but is easily corrected. He will beg for apple cores if you are eating an apple. Ari will run away if not on a leash or in a fenced yard, and the only way to get him back is with treats. He will not necessarily stay close either, and thinks that you trying to get him back is a fun game. With treats, though, he is easy to convince. He loves fetch, and loves to run with his niece, Daisy (a Great Dane mix).

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 3 years, 11 mo. old
  • Weight: 39lbs
  • Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi
  • Tracking Chip: Yes
  • Neutered: Yes
  • House Trained: Yes
Ari will go to the door if he has to go out, or if you don't notice that he has done that he will bark at you a bit, usually starting with a very quiet bark to get your attention.
  • Gets along with children: Yes
Ari loves kids. Sometimes he will jump up, but he tends to not do that will younger children. He does it to give kisses, and is easily corrected.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Ari is very friendly with other dogs, even overly so. He has been well socialized, and gets along with dogs large and small.
  • Gets along with cats: Yes
He has bothered our cats a few times as he grew up, but now all he does is sniff them as they walk by. If they hiss at him, he will defer to them and walk away.
