I love how each dog has their own personality and traits and it's always interesting to meet new dogs. I also find dogs to be very loving and that’s what prompted me to work with Rover as a dog sitter. I used to work caring for pups as a bather at PetSmart and I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, walking and playing with pups and helping to clean their kennels. I found working with dogs and animals is my passion -- they take up such a huge part of my heart and I absolutely wouldn't have it any other way! I grew up with dogs and they have always been a big part of my life. I adopted Lily, a Pomeranian, and she is a huge part of my family! She's spunky and the thing that I love most about her is that her favorite toy is a huge stuffed dog that’s twice her size. I also adopted a cat, Sophie, and love how friendly or loving she can be at times, but independent at other times. I have owned hamsters and I currently have two guinea pigs named Cookie and Cotton. I love having these animals around because they are so adorable and purr when they are happy. Another thing I love about them is that they are really intelligent creatures. I would be happy to care for any of these animals, and when it comes to caring for pups, I don’t have any breed preferences. I love reading, hiking, and fishing in my free time and do it when the weather permits and as often as I can. Lily joins me on a lot of my adventures and I’m happy to bring your pup along as well! I consider myself to be compassionate, motivated, and reliable and I believe these traits make me a great person to care for animals. I’m excited about meeting all the new faces and making a lot of new friends by working with Rover.
