Hi! I’m back on Rover after a few years focusing on moving/building a company! My husband and I grew up with dogs, and we now have a 1.5 year old pup of our own (in addition to our indoor/outdoor cat and four chickens in the backyard). We work from home; have a fenced-in back yard and are active people -- so we can meet your dog's activity needs (running, dog park, walks, play time). Our dog, Moose, is very friendly with other dogs and submissive enough to know when to give another dog their space. We are home all day (aside from errands), but we are working. So, it is best for us to take care of a dog who, like ours, enjoys morning activity followed by a "rest period" (not necessarily crated, but chilling in the house with us), then afternoon activity followed by a rest period, and evening activity. Please let us know a little bit about your dog's temperament, particularly pertaining to their interactions with other dogs, cats and birds. We have four chickens in the backyard and, while they are fenced in -- we need to know if your dog has the hunting instinct so we can keep an eye on that. If your dog chases cats, we are not a good match. We do require a "meet and greet" before scheduling care. Thank you!
