FIDO FITNESS AND MORE

Pet care experience

Sitter profile. UPDATE HERE v FIDO FITNESS and so much more! My friends and neighbors trust me to walk and care for their dog(s). I am trusted with key access and I leave notes regarding the walk, play, feeding, waste removal and any home care that I provide. I also care for my neighbor's cats by cleaning the litter box, feeding and playing with them. Beginning as a child, I exercised our family dogs, attended basic obedience classes and I often exercised more than one dog at a time. Over the last several years, I adopted four dogs. My one remaining Afghan Hound rescue receives tremendous love and care. You can always count on me to provide the same level of focus, love and care for your dog(s). I work part-time so that I can focus on caring and exercising your dog. I look forward to meeting you!. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . .. . . .. . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .. .

Katherine is very professional and knows how to handle dogs. She allowed Bentley to become familiar with her before starting the new walking schedule by coming over for a meet and greet. She had great techniques for handling his rambunctious 6 month old puppy self. Each day a walk was scheduled, Katherine was on time and sent an update of how Bentley was doing. I will be using her for walks going forward!

Katherine is the best sitter imaginable! She was caring and warm with my pets while I was at the hospital after an unplanned emergency. Having Katherine sitting my babies gave me peace of mind when I most needed it. I will always be appreciative of how Katherine promptly and efficiently backed me up in such a situation. THANK YOU!

Katherine is a true animal lover and a lovely person. I’m afraid my dog can be a handful but Katherine handled her beautifully and only saw the good in Gracie. Highly recommended!

Information Katherine H. would like to know about your pet

Big or small, I love them all! I have no breed preference and I am very accustomed to catering to dogs with special needs and exercise requirements. I would like to know about any concerns you may have or special needs that the dog has. I will make sure that your dog is safe, happy and comfortable. My second Greyhound adoption was deaf and each rescue had a very sensitive stomach. Fearful dogs, exuberant dogs, older dogs and those that need to take oral medications are welcome in my care. My 15 year old Afghan Hound was rescued from a gruesome hoarding case, thus she is fearful outdoors. Three of my dogs needed to take oral medications and supplements. I am very comfortable administering them.

A typical day

I will follow all Pet Parent instructions regarding our walk and visit I am always mindful of the pace that is needed to keep the dog comfortable and happy! I will transport the dog to a special area for exercise, grooming or vet care.
