Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life. They are like children to me. Definitely spoiled babies. I have dog/cat sit for several neighbors over the last 7 years. I work from home during the week with lots of flexibility so I will be free to play with and walk your precious babies. I take the dogs out frequently and let them run in the backyard. I also like to take them for a walk early in the morning before the sidewalks get to warm so you protect their little feet. I have a fenced yard. I have two very friendly dogs. I have a room with several crates if your dog needs a break to be away from the others. They will definitely have a fun time while with me.

So thankful for Katherine for watching our little Luna. Katherine took pictures of Luna’s day and sent them to us. She was flexible about our pick up time. Most of all we could tell she really loved Luna like her own! ❤️
Katherine (Rene) was such an amazing dog sitter, I really cannot not stress that enough. Right away she offered to do a meet and my pup can be pretty energetic and gets especially excited around new people. I always worry he can be a little overwhelming but Katherine didn’t make me feel that way at all, she was SUPER sweet and patient with him. She truly made me feel like at ease. I felt like I had nothing to worry about with my pup in her hands. She embraced him liked her own, took him on walks, frequent potty breaks, and even let him snuggle with her at night. Loved meeting her, such a sweet person- she even gave me a succulent from her garden! Definitely will be rebooking with her again (-:

A typical day
First thing in the morning I let my dogs out and then I prepare their meals. One of my dogs has diabetes so I have to monitor her blood sugar and then administer her insulin injection at the same time every day. This dog is also completely blind so I have to watch over her pretty closely so that she doesn’t get herself into a situation where she might get hurt. So this means that I will also be watching your dogs just as closely. I do work from home, I start work at 7:30 AM but I get up about 6 AM to make sure that my dogs are taken care of before I begin work. As I mentioned my work hours are very flexible so if needed I can take the dogs for a walk first thing in the morning and then start working after that. I take the dogs out several times a day. I love sitting outside and having lunch on my back patio, and letting the dogs run free in the backyard while I’m out there to monitor them. I do not let my dogs out in the backyard alone.
