Pet care experience
I have life experience with cats and dogs! I grew up with cats and all of my childhood friends had dogs. I volunteered at Richmond Animal League before having my son a year ago. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats! I’ve even had fish, mice and an Amazon parrot in the past! My pets are my children and I would treat any pet as such! They are the loves of my life, my passion! I’m very flexible with my schedule as I work from home! I am patient, understanding, compassionate and adore animals! I want your pets to feel comfortable when you aren’t there so I do everything possible to make them safe and loved! I will walk them, feed them, play with them and give them all the attention they need! I am not trained for special needs animals, but do have experience giving insulin shots to cats and dogs and oral medications. Whatever your pet needs, I’m confident I can handle it. My number one goal is to make sure your baby feels comfortable when you are gone!!!

I have known Katy for years. She has a real love and passion for animals, particularly dogs. She has helped me on several occasions taking care of my less than a year old golden doodle. She sent me video or pictures of her which was just more reassurance my pup was having a grand time. Love the way Katy treats her as her own when she is taking care of her. She is a wonderful loving pet sitter!!
Katherine, it's very responsible, kind very trustworthy which all three are very much required when enlisting someone into your home All of my animals loved her, she not only gives them excellent care and follows my instructions for them to the letter she spends quality time with each one of them. I don’t have breed preferences, I love them all! I usually like to meet a pet for the first time with the owner present so they feel more comfortable with me. Of course I would like to know if the pet has any aggression or anxiety or medical issues so I can deal with that appropriately. Each of our pets safety is important to me.
A typical day
I usually take the dogs for walks where ever they live, but am not opposed to taking them elsewhere. Where ever the owner prefers! After the walk we play inside/outside for a while before I have to leave to they can release some energy! If the pet isn’t an energetic one, I’m happy to snuggle up on the couch with them and give them all the pets!
