I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets and farm animals since I was a kid. I absolutely love animals and want to take care of them in my retirement. As one pet owner told me, “you are a born care giver.”

Katherine came to the rescue and agreed to look after our dog with little notice. She immediately responded to our request, set up a meet and greet the next day, and then took great care of our dog. Not only that, she left our house in better shape than she found it, going above and beyond with her service. We are so grateful for her assistance.

Katherine elevated all of my anxiety leaving Charlie and our new kitten Evie for the 1st time. We had left Charlie with a well rated kennel a previous trip with a bad experience. Katherine was amazing she sent text updates of their progress. Made special food for Charlie who gets extremely upset stomachs when his routine is messed up. We returned home to an perfectly clean home and two happy and healthy babies. Thank you so much for making this trip so stress free and treating our babies as your own.

A typical day
Frequent walks, play time with balls/fetch, squeaky toys, dog treats and chews, giving them love and attention, daily brushing. Possibly the beach if they love the water.

Availability
Staying in your home to take care of your animal(s) as well as your home, plants, etc. I would be there for whatever potty break /feeding schedule that is already in place within reason. I treat your home the way I would want my home treated and respected. In regards to boarding in mine, I have a very large grassy back yard enclosed with a 6 foot fence. There is a doggie door and your dog would have free rein of the house. I have crates if you so prefer for nighttime but we don’t mind sharing the covers with our furry friends. There are no cats present. I have one dog who will tolerate any goofiness your pup may bring. In the home my 21 year old daughter assists me if I am not home, so it is rare for any animal to be left alone.
