Pet care experience
My family has always had cats and dogs. As a young adult my husband and I had cats. As our family grew we rescued a Pitt mix and a lab mix. We loved them so much. Last year both passed away, having had wonderful long lives. We now have an elderly cat and a female shih Tzu. My husband and I have fostered animals from Port Charlotte welfare center and helped out when other shelters were overcrowded.

Kathryn has helped us with dog walking as needed for about 3 years now. she comes to my home, takes the dogs, and they walk and they get their treats and she then secures the house again. she is utterly reliable and trustworthy and I certainly feel confident that my babies are well loved and cared for.
I have used Katherine for many years to watch my 2 cats. My 1 cat (who has since had to be put to sleep) had severe respiratory problems and required medications and an inhaler twice a day. Katherine loves animals and establishes a good rapport with them. My kitties would run to greet her when she came in the door! She is also very responsible and can be counted on to show up and take care of your pet.
Katherine is a dedicated animal lover. When we leave our Zoe with her we know she is well cared for and treated like one of the family in a safe environment.

We are lucky to live on two and a half lots with a six foot wooden fence. We do not have a pool so dogs are free to come and go through a doggy door on our lanai, or with small dogs I take them outside only with supervision. There is plenty of room for playing and laying in the grass. Our shih Tzu Ellie is nine months old and loves to play. Our elderly cat keeps to herself. She is one of those cats that only love one person, and she chose me. Our home is pet friendly and has enough room to create safe quiet areas if that is what your pet needs.

I love all types and sizes of dogs. I want to know what your pet enjoys and what they dislike. I like to know their personality and how you treat them at home. I try to duplicate your care so they enjoy their stay at our home.
A typical day
We will play in our large backyard every day. On nice days we will take at least one walk. I enjoy working with dogs on their skills, such as sit, stay, paw, etc. We spend time everyday working on these skills. We throw balls and toys in the house and outside for fetch. We have a lot of toys to share!
