Hi, I’m Katherine! I work at UCLA and am a dog lover who misses my family dog very much and will love yours like my own. I would love to walk, take care of, or check in on your furry friend when you need a helping hand. I have years of experience with caring for dogs in a number of capacities. I have worked with dogs with a wide range of personalities, so I am very open, understanding and adaptable to every dog's unique needs and specifications. I also have experience house sitting cats. If you choose me to spend time with your pet, rest assured that he or she will receive the best care. I’m a strong believer that pets need love and attention to be happy, and am enthusiastic about and dedicated to providing that. I will love your dog like my own, and ensure that they are comfortable, healthy, and having fun while you are away!

Katherine was so great with my 10 month puppy! She had him one night and he came home so tired and happy! It’s hard to tire him out, so this is such a nice result! She was very attentive and thorough with questions before meeting with me so she could be totally prepared. This is so important and I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with her. And I will again!
Got lots of exercise and was sleepy upon arrival back home!
I've been relying on Katherine for years to watch my Cupcake (my Silky Terrier) when I go out of town. Katherine has been a god send. She always goes above and beyond to make sure Cupcake gets plenty exercise, and TLC. Cupcake is always happy to see her (the wagging tail doesn't lie)!!! :-)
Katherine was terrific! She stayed at our home with our Goldendoodle for a week and we couldn't have been happier. Aggie had just had surgery before we had to leave for a wedding. He required twice daily medication, and would risk re-injuring his shoulder if he jumped or ran. I was nervous about leaving him, because these requirements were hard even for me to manage, let alone someone who doesn't know the dog well. Katherine did a great job of taking care of Aggie and making sure that he was able to continue the healing process. She sent us regular updates with pictures and even FaceTimed us which made me feel so much better about leaving a dog in poor health behind. I was confident that my dog was in great hands. I was very impressed by the care that Katherine provided to Aggie and recommend her to any dog owner who needs to leave their pet while they are away.

I spend most of my time directly alongside the pets, I'm attentive to their needs and take them for walks either early in the morning or in the evening (or both depending on the dog's habits) so that it's not too hot for them. My area in Westwood is a quiet residential environment that has sidewalks along every road, so it's very safe and pleasant for walking.

A typical day
I live in a neighborhood right next to the UCLA--with many hills to walk on, and big open spaces for your dog to explore like the botanical and sculpture gardens on campus. There is also a big dog park right down the road, which I am happy to take your dog to as frequently as they would like if they are friendly with other dogs! I am athletic and high energy, so in addition to grabbing a leash for a walk, I also love running around with dogs that need a lot of exercise.
