Pet care experience
I've taken care of my own dogs since I was 8. I have been a vet technician, and worked at a boarding facility. I currently have my own pets, including a dog and 4 horses.

Katherine walked our dog Poncho for several weeks, and we couldn't ask for a better walker! She took excellent care of him and even kept us updated on an allergic reaction he was having at the time. We would definitely ask her to walk our dogs again!
Katherine came the day before we were to leave to meet my fur family. She was very gentle when she approached them. My pups are older and require a little (lot) of tlc. The babies warmed up to her and I felt very comfortable with her ability to care for them. She has a great personality and very easy to work with. She kept in constant contact with photos and shared how they were doing. I would definitely recommend her for your animal needs. I will be using her again.

Katie is attentive and loving towards all animals. For a while now, she has been taking care of our dog and it’s been the easiest and most pleasurable experience. Katie is responsible and always available when I need her. I wouldn’t trust my dog with anyone else!

I like to meet with the clients before their time away to understand exactly how their pets are cared for/fed and the sleeping arrangements. That way I can make it as comfortable for the pets and their routine stays as close to the same as possible while their owners are gone.

A typical day
I usually will play fetch, or if a dog has a special toy they play with. For walks, I'll usually go to Jacobson Park and do their trails that go by their ponds. Otherwise, I will gladly walk in pets neighborhood.

Availability
I work daytime during the week. I would be able to do walks after 4 on most days, but can usually fit drop ins during the day. I am available for house sitting on weekends and could also include weeknights if needed.
