Pet care experience
I have a horse, a goat, a dog, 2 cats, and a passel of chickens, which is why I come to you rather than having dogs in my home. : ) I will treat your pup or kit like it's part of my family. If I'm coming to your home I will take great care of your loved one(s) and property. I have also had experience working as a vet tech and fostering lots of animals, so if you have a special needs dog or medications to be dispensed, I'm happy to help out! Also happy to care for cats or other animals as part of a visit or stay for small additional fees, or for cats only at a lower rate than dogs - just ask. If I don't show as available for a portion of your needs, please reach out, as depending on your location and pets it may be possible! Please note if you book an overnight, if you need a full day on either end I will add a day fee; Rover has rules for dropoff/pickup on day boarding but not on overnights for some reason! Basically my fee covers 24 hours, so if you ask me to house sit or board from 8am Monday to 6pm Tuesday for the cost of a single night, I will return a modified request to include the full day board.

Thanks for taking good care of our pups while we were away! It was our first time leaving them with a sitter and we were able to relax knowing they were in good hands.
Katherine was fantastic. She kept us very well informed our whole trip. We had a family member who was very anxious to leave the dogs while we were away but Katherine put them at ease by keeping in touch and sending pictures.
Katherine kept up informed the whole walk and I felt that my dog was in really safe hands.
Katherine looked after our pup, Harvey during our visit to Harrogate while we had a booking for Afternoon Tea in Betty’s. She was absolutely fantastic with him and showed him all the Christmas sights. Katherine was very relaxed and open to keeping Harvey out on a walk but also had a back up plan if Harvey seemed to tired or it was too cold and wet. We could not be more grateful for her help! She even extended the booking very last minute when our afternoon tea was served a little late. Thank you!! It helped us be able to relax and enjoy our meal knowing our pup was being well looked after and having a blast himself!

Off leash adventures (as you allow/recommend), walks, hikes, runs, fetching, whatever your dog wants to do, mine will gladly come along for the ride if you want a friend! If yours prefer to be cared for singly I can do that as well.

I mostly want to know what behavior to expect on walks so I can be prepared! Of course if you have medication needs, and any commands or behaviors I need to be aware of. And don't let me forget to ask you for the Wi-Fi code if I'm house sitting. :-)

Availability
I work full-time as a physio but I'm mobile and can set my own schedule to allow for Rover bookings. I prefer to keep within a small range so I can give more time to your animals and less to driving, but if you are further afield please do reach out as I may be able to work it out.
