Full time Rover sitter

Pet care experience

I have had dogs my whole life and have experience training, walking, and boarding! I also have experience with dogs who are disabled! Specifically ones who are visually impaired, deaf, and have permanent leg injuries. If your dog has a disability I will make sure they get the attention and care that they need. Is your dog a pup? Not a problem! I have lots of experience with puppies and can help with any training needs they may have while your'e busy including potty training! There will be no prejudice towards breeds that have bad reputations, all breeds are welcome here! My goal is that your dog has the best time they possibly can while in my care, and I can't wait to meet them!

Kit is amazing! Super knowledgeable and willing to help. Our puppy got an injury just before a vacation, and Kit was able to help administer meds no problem, including taking her to a follow up appointment. I cannot express how grateful I am for everything he did. It was our first time leaving our puppy (who was still potty training!), and he was a perfect fit helping answer questions along the way.

Kit has done a great job taking care of two of my girls over the years! I have used kit multiple times and always feel at ease.

My puppy Ghost has lots of fun with Katherine. He enjoyed playing with the other pups and it helped him be introduced to cats as he has never been around them yet. Would definitely book again.

Katherine was a good sitter initially, Wilbur in all the updates and pictures I received looked happy, he was able to make friends. The updates also did help me relax as this was my first time leaving Wilbur with a paid sitter instead of a friend or family member. Now Katherine did call me and inform me of a bite and a “ rash “ that wilbur had gotten. However, upon picking up Wilbur a day early, I did notice a few things, One Wilbur was very lethargic and not excited to see me as he usually is ,Two Wilbur was significantly skinny and weighed significantly less then he did when he was dropped off, Three Wilbur’s “rash” was significantly worse then I was led to believe. It looked more like a puncture wound or cigarette burn. He also had more gashes on his face and legs that were not previously there. I was only informed of the bite and the rash a few days before pickup. I would have liked to know if she noticed any weight loss as that can become deadly if left unchecked for too long. The minute we got home, he eagerly and hastily ate his food as if he had not eaten in days. I ended up taking him to the veterinary hospital as he seemed lethargic and I was genuinely concerned about his weight. Doctor said that his weight loss was nothing more then lack of care over a couple weeks. Unfortunately Rover will not allow me to attach photos to this review, but to describe Wilbur’s condition was no more then absolutely terrifying, he looked skeletal and had completely lost his personality and puppy excitement. He has been home for a few days and his condition is improving, I’ve managed to get him to a healthier weight and his personality is slowly coming back. I understand that watching someone else’s dog is a hard job, but I would have liked to know if he was not doing ok, I was so scared.
