I’ve cared for my own golden retriever and cat since I was 5, with a little help from my parents of course! I’ve also grown up going to a ranch, and taking care of my horse. Then in middle school, I volunteered at the VCR in Hawaii Kai almost every weekend and more for at least 3 years. There, I learned skills such as cleaning and caring for the puppies, kittens, cats, dogs. Walks, playing, washing, cleaning, learning to force feeding gently for medical reasons, and I know how to brush both dogs and cats teeth. I love giving quality care time to animals. I’ve also pet-sit for multiple friends’ animals, and am very timely, responsible, and thoughtful, because your pets are your family, and I’d want anyone to treat my pets as they would their own family too. I am working from home, and have my own schedule. I am an early riser, so early morning pick ups/ drop-ins are a-okay for me! Mornings and evenings work best for me, which is perfect for brekkie and dinner drop-ins, and walks! I will always give my full attention to your loved one. That means I’ll keep them safe while in my care as well as give them all the pets and love. Dog walks: No off-leash walks, even if your dog is used to it. Their safety is my top priority. Need exercise? We can do a fast-paced and/or long walk! Potty break? I’ll make sure to bring a poop bag! Outdoor play time? Count me in! I’ll get my exercise in for the day too! Drop-ins: It’s not just a drop-in. It’s quality time for your loved one while you’re away. They’ll miss you! I’ll be their companion, and do my best to help make your absence less lonely for them. I also always make sure to keep and leave the space clean.
