I have had a dog my entire life and I volunteered at the Humane Society for a couple of years before pursuing my Ph.D. I also volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center while I was pursuing my undergrad. Animals of all kinds have always been a passion of mine and I studied Wildlife Biology for my undergraduate degree. I currently have a hound mix who is about to be 4 years old and loves all dogs. I am a teacher and will not be working during the summer so I have all day to love and care for dogs!
