Sage the collie was my first dog.Sage would race down the hayfields chasing airplanes at my grandparents farm. My grandfather joked Sage was really good at it -- not one plane ever landed! Then we got Lucky, a miniature black poodle.We all put choices for names in a hat. My brother was just learning how to read. He only knew words like "stop" and "go" and "Lucky" was from his reader. So Lucky it was. I've fostered injured and sick animals and taken care of newborn litters through the Humane Society both in BC and in Ottawa. While living in Ethiopia I saved a wild kitten from the streets, nursed it back to health and found it a good forever home when I had to come back to Canada a year later. I find it a a pleasure getting out for a walk no matter the weather . I will show your wonderful pet lots of love. So far I have walked Reya the Newfoundland, Damo the Yorkie, Stella and Oliver the border terriers , Pharaoh the Pekingese, Jasmin the miniature Schnauzer, a beautiful Bouvier named Chica, and Guinness a Burnese elder! I walked a 3 month old Vizsla named Daby, Lucy a black Labradoodle and Lola a sweet Doberman. Duke is a cute little Lhasa Apso that I walk frequently. I walk Cooper the Whippet too every day. Mello is exactly that - and he's a cute Wheaton. Cassie is a small blind poodle who is an amazing little walker! So interesting to be around all the different sizes, ages and personalities. I will provide a one hour walk or a half hour walk. I pay close attention to your pet's unique needs - what treats they get or if they have troubles with other dogs or animals.
