Pet care experience
I currently have one dog named Lola (18 year old poodle mix) but have always grown up with dogs! I have previously worked at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant, and as a kennel technician. Both of those positions have made me very comfortable around animals of all sizes, ages, physical disabilities, and those with certain medical requirements. I have a passion for helping others! Aside from the animal hospital, I have been a caregiver for the last 10 years and I'm very excited to start working with animals again! You have my word as her mother and a dog lover/owner that she will provide the kind of care and love for your pet that you want them to have when you are away. Katie cares, that's what she does. She has worked in a local veterinary practice and she has worked for years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In Katie's case it should be CCNA - Compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant. So leave your pets without worrying. They will love their new friend Katie when you are gone and they will be wagging their tails when you return.
Katie has been one of the best pet care technicians I have ever met. Her compassion, attentiveness and love for those pets are unequal. The pets in her care sense this, which makes them feel at ease. One should never worry about their pet's well being in her care!
Katie is a very caring person when it comes to all aspects of her life but especially with animals. I've known her to foster animals and adopt and it most definitely brings Katie happiness as well as the animal she's caring for.
