Pet care experience
Hi! I am Katherine and I have been taking care of all different sizes and breeds of dogs for many years. It all began as a way to make some extra money growing up and turned into a true passion for animals. I'm a graduate of the master's program at UNC's School of Social Work and moved to Durham in 2018. I'm currently working in the mental health tech space. I work remotely and can give your pet attention during the day. I would love to spend my spare time with your sweet animal(s)! I have taken care of all kinds of animals. You can trust me not only with your dogs, but also with your cats, guinea pigs, birds or even your fish! I know that your pets are family and I will treat yours like they are a part of my family. If pets are in my home, they will have access to a large fenced in front and back yard. They can also play with my sweet 50 lbs dog named Pigeon! I live in Northgate park so trips to the dog park and walks on the trails are frequent.

I'd like to know your animals favorite activities, behaviors, and quirks. Do they like lots of cuddles or are they more in favor of a gentle pat on the head? I want to make sure I care for them just like you would.
A typical day
I'm always happy to meet your animal where they are! If they prefer a quiet, relaxed environment and nap most of the day I can accommodate that. If they are the opposite and prefer to play for hours on end, I can accommodate that too!
