Pet care experience
Having grown up in the suburbs with a dog and a cat, I grew to love always being surrounded by furry friends. And while living in the big apple has it's many perks, providing space to own pets is, very unfortunately, not one of them. Realizing my love for animal interaction and playtime, I now take on the role of Official Dog Sitter for many of my friends. As a freelance photographer, I balance my days with work and watching my friends' pets. I love to stop by their places for a quick visit or take their pups out to run around and explore the city. Gentle by nature and as energetic as a puppy, myself, I love any opportunity to spend time with animals.

Katherine is an extremely reliable, caring, hardworking person who I have had the pleasure of being good friends with for about 4 years. She's also very smart and friendly. While I was in between apartments Katherine took care of my sweet dog, Socks, for months. She kept Socks fed and happy and got her plenty of exercise. They're buds for life now! I would highly recommend Katherine.

I would definitely like to know a bit about the dog before sitting. For me, it's important to be well-informed, whether that's about their favorite activities, any dietary restrictions, their temperament with other dogs, etc.
A typical day
Before picking up a dog for a walk, I typically scout out dog parks, grassy areas and safe routes beforehand. If the dog is enjoys running, I'll bring a tennis ball or some sort of activity to get the pup up and running.
