Hi! My name is Kat, I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid, and unfortunately can’t afford to have a dog of my own at the moment, so I want to help you out and get my puppy fix! I have three years of experience as a general veterinary technician and one year of experience of surgical veterinary experience. I am CPR certified, and can administer any medicine necessary and follow any dietary requirements. I will also be able to recognize any signs of illness, both serious and not, and take appropriate immediate action as well as advise you on where would be best to go. Not only do I have professional experience in animal health, I’ve also had dogs, cats, fish, birds, snakes, spiders, frogs, lizards, rats, mice, and horses my whole life. I recently moved, and unfortunately can only handle having my one cat at the moment, so this is the perfect solution! I also have five years of pet sitting experience, and can offer references on request. I work from home as an author outside of doing Rover full time, so I have plenty of time on my hands. My hope is that I can make your life a little easier and make you more comfortable leaving your kiddos for a while! I'm comfortable with fearful and aggressive animals, both cats and dogs, and am also happy to take care of any other animals you may have, from fish to rodents to reptiles. I work remotely as an author and can work from anywhere, and usually only work between three and five hours a day for Rover with many breaks in those hours, so I'll have the vast majority of my day completely free to do nothing but play and snuggle! I have one cat of my own that I'll need to go home twice a day to take care of, but other than that I'll be with your kiddo the whole day and/or night (depending on service booked) in a place they're comfortable in - your home!
