I have known Katherine for 9 years now, and I have never met anyone more devoted to her dogs. I stayed with her for a few days when she just had her first dog, Jessica, and I could immediately see how close the two of them were. Although Jessica was the family dog, Katherine took it upon herself to feed, walk, and care for Jessica in all the ways that mattered. Jessica slept nestled at the foot of Katherine's bed. Since that point, I have recognized all the time and energy that Katherine had to put in for her new dog, Rocky. Rocky is a rescue, and quite nervous around other people and dogs. I have seen how Katherine has always shown him compassion and put his needs before her own, even through the upheaval of the recent pandemic. Even when I am unable to meet with Katherine, we phone somewhat regularly, and the first thing she wants to catch me up on is the state of her dogs. It has always been clear to me that Katherine has a passion for animal care and always has time for her dogs. I would trust Katherine to look after my dog in a heartbeat.

Crystal is extremely sweet, compassionate, and knowledgeable when it comes to dogs and their care. She has personally watched my dog, who is a difficult and anxious dog, and within a single weekend had managed to make the dog fall in love with her. Every time she visits that dog he jumps up to her. He is a 7 year old miniature poodle. To my knowledge she has had two dogs of her own which she has cared for and been extremely responsible for, both of which are doing extremely well.
