Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Kate and I'm a 23 year old student living in Central Jersey. I have plenty of experience with private clients. I've been around all types of animals my entire life starting from 5 years old and would love the opportunity to become your regular pet sitter. I am not only experienced with domesticated animals, but also with livestock. I offer day house-sitting for all pets, Overnight stays for dogs and cats, and walks for dogs. My goal and responsibility is to make sure your pet doesn't feel lonely and is well fed, clean, and healthy. I have owned a rabbit, gerbil, guinea pig, dogs, cats, and fish, and am very familiar with their environmental care. I am also familiar with what most animals eat, but I would request that note how much and how often you would like your critter fed. Once I become comfortable with your pet, I may offer care in my home, as long as your pet is comfortable with cats, and is comfortable being in a crate for any time I need to run out for an errand. We left our 2 YO Jack Russell Cooper with Kate for a week this past December and we couldn't have gotten any luckier with finding her. Not only did she help us prior to that, just on the fly for individual dog walks but she was super responsive to all of my "first time leaving my pup" texts prior to leaving. We had her staying for Christmas as well, which on it's own is a big holiday for most people, but wasn't an issue for Kate. She even made arrangements for help with our boy when she came down with a stomach bug during that week. It was brutally cold out yet the boy seemed well exercised and we received text updates and a picture while we were away. I would highly recommend Kate for any animal services that you need. She's truly a gem!
We reached out to Kate and she immediately responded. She came to take care of our dog, a hyperactive jack Russell at the last minute when we had a death in the family. She was prompt and even texted us while she was at our house to report on cooper. She can handle anything you hand her and is extremely responsible and caring. Cooper loved her immediately and we trusted his instincts and weren’t let down. Hire this lovely woman for just about anything! Can’t wait to go on our next vacation knowing that Cooper will be in great hands!!
Petsitting for my dogs is no ordinary petsitting job! My three dogs (Lowchen breed) have big attitudes despite their small size. To say my crew can be challenging to deal with at times is no understatement! We have gone through our fair share of petsitters in the past because they were not prepared to carry out the high maintenance obligations -- mostly grooming -- that often come with my dogs. And although Katherine has certainly faced her fair share of these responsibilities, she has handled herself with the utmost professionalism and care for my pets. Katherine is able to maintain a schedule, which is critical for my pets, but still allows for them to have a good time. It is difficult to find a trustworthy person to take care of your pets when you have several responsibilities facing you. But Katherine is consistently available to petsit for us when we need her and never complains about the challenges my three wonderful babies pose to her.
I have been in the traveling business for a long time and I own 2 pitbulls. It has been very hard for me to find someone who has had the time to meet my needs of dog sitting when it comes to being on time, and working with long hours of patience... until I met Kate. This wonderful young woman has always dedicated her time to make sure my dogs were safe at home. She's on time ALWAYS. sometimes, she even comes a little earlier to ensure I make it out of the house to work on time. I never had to wait for her. Her kindness and love towards animals gives me 100% trust in her, I never feel doubt or paranoia when I'm on trips because I know my dogs are in good hands. She even brings treats and toys that my dogs absolutely love . She even writes down the times she's fed them and let them out to go potty for me. She even cleans up the yard for me after they go to the bathroom! I've never seen them greet someone with happiness and excitement when she comes over. She is all around sweet and amazing. Please. If you need a trusting and responsible individual to look over your pets. PICK KATE! She's the best. My dogs will always have a friend, and an awesome dog sitter in the end. 10/10 stars.

A typical day
Walks will be leisurely and I will not let them come inside until they are finished doing their business. I will try to make sure the dog is on a solo walk, but I may have a friend once in a while. If there are any favorite spots your pup adores, please let me know and I'll try to visit that area for him or her. I will try to visit parks on every walk.
