Katherine takes really great care of Mamet. He can be a very needy dog and she gives him all the love! This week in particular, Mamet was sick and extra destructive and Katherine went the extra mile to take good care of not only Mamet, but my house too, so that i didn’t come home to messes. I have filed a complaint with Rover regarding the care my cats received. I double checked the instructions that I prepared the night before to make sure I warned you that the medication instructions changed for Toby. You obviously did not read to use the Lactulose first but started using the AM and PM packets. I left instructions on the counter and online. I placed the Lactulose bottle in the middle of your work space so you could not miss it, reminding you to use the Lactulose first, then start on the packets once you ran out of the Lactulose (a much stronger medication) You also ignored the countertop reminder. You locked yourself out of the home. I tried to make you feel okay about that and paid the $80 locksmith fee but now realize it was just a series of unfocused errors you would be making. I had no extra key because I have recently moved here and did not want to leave a key outside. I had to learn (to my dismay) that you removed a medication from Toby's meal because I had you add in a new medication, Cisapride. You did not ask whether removing the other medication was right, you just made your own decision to do so. To my horror, after 7 days of my cat struggling to have a BM, I discovered you never used the Lactulose, a much stronger medication, you just used the packets in the drawer. I also discovered that you did clean the surface of the cat boxes but allowed the urine to penetrate to the bottom and clog up the bottom of the boxes. When I asked if Toby had a bowel movement, you could never have been accurate since you left the boxes dirty. Please do not put another animal at risk. Toby could have been forced to undergo anesthesia and death by having to have a surgical procedure to remove the feces due to your negligence. I have requested Rover to refund the fee I paid you as well as the $80 I had to pay out to the locksmith because you locked yourself out of the home.
