Hi there! My name is Katie and I have over 5 years of experience as a professional dog walker and dog sitter. I have had dogs of my own in the past and love spending time with animals. I work full time during the week during normal business hours, but would love to care for your dog in the evenings or on weekends. I accept offers for sitting at your home, drop in visits, walks, and boarding at my home. I live in an apartment complex with a dog park within walking distance.

I always make sure to keep eyes on the dog when opening and closing the door. My dog is always leashed outside unless we are at the dog park where I know it is enclosed and safe.

Let me know if your dog is good with other dogs and if they are good walkers or if they like to pull and sniff. I will accommodate any dog I possibly can, knowing that dogs are like people in that they can carry fear and traumas. I will be gentle and patient with any dog that needs a little extra reassurance.
A typical day
I love to walk around my neighborhood and check out new nature trails nearby. I love to play with dogs inside and outside by throwing a ball or playing tug of war. Mental stimulation is important too, so I love using treat toys to get the dogs to work for their rewards.

Availability
I work close by to my home and visit my dog there during my lunch break. I also enjoy exercising in the evenings so incorporate my dog into that as well. Weekends are for long hikes and walks, and visits to the dog park.
