Pet care experience
I'm a college student who has always been a dog-lover. I've been taking care of pets since I was five, and was raised to treat them like family! When your pet is with me, they will be my first priority. I can provide them with belly rubs, walks around town, and a cozy spot in my bed, during overnight stays! What to expect: I love to be outside, so I will take your dog on walks around campus and the Athens bike path, which is very close to my home. When it is okay with the owner, I love to take dogs to the dog park so they have playmates and space to roam! On rainy or cold days, I'll spend my time inside playing with the dog and giving them all the snuggles. The majority of my classes are online and I have a very flexible work schedule, which means I can dedicate my time to the dogs I care for. I know being away from their people can be stressful for dogs, so it's important to me to provide a safe and relaxing environment for them. I will treat your dog as if they are my own. In addition, it can be worrisome for an owner to leave their pet, so I will send lots of pictures and answer any questions you have.

Katherine is a great person, and she looks after any dog she is watching as her own. I have known her for several years now, and I always trust her to watch my dog when I'm away. It gives me piece of mind to know that my dog is in good hands while I'm travelling, and I come home every time to a happy doggo with lots of pictures from his stay. Katherine is responsible, kind, and caring and everything you could want in a sitter for your pup!

Katherine is a great person to have watch your dog! She is so loving and caring towards animals, and will always be there to make sure they are happy and comfortable. She is reliable and dependable, and will put your dog first for whatever they need! She will play with your dog all day! She is the best person I can think of to watch dogs and would always trust her to take amazing care of my own dog!

I know how important routines are, that's why I ask what a typical day in the dog's life is like. I'd like to know when feeding times are and how often they have potty breaks. I also want to know if they like other dogs/people, what commands they use, and where they sleep for overnight stays.
A typical day
I love to practice tricks, take dogs for walks on the nearby bike path, and sit on my front porch and people watch with the dogs I sit. There are also two dog parks less than 5 miles from my house. I enjoy taking dogs to Strouds Run and The Ridges for hikes!

Availability
I'm currently taking classes, but they are mostly online. I also have a very flexible work schedule. I am available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the mornings and evenings. My afternoon schedule varies. I am available all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
