Veterinary Nurse- Dog walking and home visits.

Pet care experience

As an experienced and knowledgeable Dog Walker and Registered Veterinary Nurse, I offer a full-range of services designed to give your pet the highest standard of care. I specialise in solo dog walking, and tailor my services to each individual, to ensure every animal's needs are met, they receive the loving care they deserve, and they have the best experience possible. I offer home visits for puppies and golden oldies and home visits for cats. I will provide the highest standard of care to ensure your pet is safe and sound while you are away. I will replenish food and water, clean accommodation, take them for a walk, provide enrichment, monitor health, administer medications, give TLC and any other requests. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I have a wealth of experience with cats and dogs and I understand it can be a stressful time for them when their owners are away. I have cared for cats and dogs with wide variety of behaviours.  I will send regular updates and care for them like they are my own. During overnight pet sitting, I will provide the highest standard of care for your animal while you are away. Depending on their likes and dislikes, we will play games, go for a nice walk (dogs only), have lots of TLC (if they like), provide enrichment and care for them as if they were my own. I will follow all instruction given by the owner, I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse so I can monitor any health condition's and give medications. I understand how worrying it can be when leaving you pet, but I will provide you with the peace of mind that your pet is in the safest hands. I provide regular pictures and updates. I am happy to water plants, feed birds and wildlife and any other things you need me to do. I am very tidy, so will ensure your house is left clean and tidy, ready for you to come home.

Kitty was fantastic when she looked after our 9 week old, very energetic, puppy. She was really respectful of our home and how we look after our puppy. Kitty is very knowledgeable due to her past experience and answered all our questions. We wouldn’t hesitate in using Kitty again.

During any home visit or overnight stay you pet is my top priority and giving you peace of mind they are in the safest hands. I listen to what you would like from my service and provide this as best I can, I am very flexible to the pet and pet guardians needs and will follow the pet guardian and pets routine as much as possible.

Information Katherine B. would like to know about your pet

Their likes and dislikes. Any training programmes you would like us to work on. Medical and Veterinary information. Their favourite places to walk. How are they with other animals, people and do they have any quirks.

A typical day

We play games, have a run and sniff around, practise basic commands using positive and force free training techniques and have some calm time towards the end of the walk, so they are ready to snooze for the rest of the day. There are lots of benefits to solo or small group dog walks these include, dedicated attention and time to work on training programmes, if they feel overwhelmed or overstimulated in large groups, if they have had a bad experience and are building up their confidence again. I walk dogs from the same household or will pair dogs if appropriate and I know they will benefit from walking together.

I can only provide overnight house sitting services on weekends or 1 night during the week.
