Hi, my name is Katie and I am a student at NMC, a part-time nursing assistant at Munson Medical Center and a big pet lover! I moved to Traverse City 3 years ago to work at Munson and had veered off of Rover because I didn’t know the area yet. The reason I came back to Rover was so that I would be able to do something I love and so I can utilize my passion for animals! Even though recently I have years of experience working a medical job with people, I have still helped continue my passion by helping plenty of coworkers and new friends in the TC area with any dog sitting duties! I worked with animals for more than 15 years now, I had volunteered at a humane society for 4 years and worked at a luxury pet resort taking care of other peoples animals for 4 years. I have experience with giving medications when needed, picking up after dogs, bathing , feeding and of course giving them the affection and activeness they need each day. On top of that I have many years of experience in dog sitting, I stayed at someones house for 20 days to take care of their 5 dogs. I have my own car so I have no problem with transportation. I am active so I would love to take your dogs on walks and play with them frequently. I am willing to come to your house to watch over them in the comfort of your own home! :) I love and have experience with any size, shape, age and breed of dog from Chihuahua to Great Dane. I am VERY flexible, I will work my way around your schedule and I would love to give my time and attention to your loved one! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover ever since I can remember. I have been around dogs ever since I was born, I grew up with 2 black labs who both lived a long happy life and I now own a wonderful dog named Lexi and she is a Cairn Terrier mix. She is one of the lights of my world so I give her loads of attention. Because I am such a pet lover I guarantee I will treat your baby just the same as I would treat my own. My experience administering medication I am super comfortable with medication. While working at the luxury pet resort, I have learned to administer medication in many different methods, such as oral, syringe, anal, topical cream, etc.
