Katherine did an amazing job sitting for our anxious dog! Katherine clearly has a natural way with animals and made our dog feel comfortable immediately. It was amazing to see so many videos of our dog feeling relaxed and wagging her tail.

I had very high hopes given the 100+ 5-star reviews on Rover - but sadly came home to a very sick puppy (throwing up non-stop, diarrhea, and a lot of mucus in stool) that had to be taken to the emergency vet and put on medication. We were unaware that the puppy was sick until we got home, and discovered 2 sets of sheets, the doggie bed and multiple toys soiled with throw up. When asked why the puppy was sick we were told that she ate another dogs food. Katherine was hired to house sit our 4 month old puppy, but it seems like most nights were not spent in our apartment. Our puppy camera was disconnected while we were gone, so we were unable to check on our pup. She did send us pictures everyday of our puppy, which we appreciated, but they were often from different locations (not our home). We also came home to missing dog toys, and missing bath mat (unsure + no communication as to what happened). There was also pee in the create when we came home, on the bed (our puppy has never peed on the bed before - so I’m assuming it was stress induced or there were other dogs brought here), chewed up wires, and broken house fixtures. There were also incenses that were burned in the apartment while we were gone (not pet friendly), even though we have multiple pet friendly candles throughout apartment. Overall, this was a scary situation to come home to, and makes me sad to think what my puppy might have gone through during the time we left for vacation. I hate to leave this kind of review, but feel like it’s only fair to share our experience.
