We are definitely dog people. Our house is always alive with canine guests and we wouldn't want it any other way! We've been hosting dogs in our home for over seven years, and have had all different breeds, sizes, personalities, and ages (as you can see from our pictures). I am a former high school teacher and my husband Jeremy retired from the military to go into defense. The Dog People is now my full time career, which means I am home playing with pooches all day! Our back yard has a six foot privacy fence. We are regularly out there with our boarders playing music, grilling out, or throwing the ball. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have! I know how stressful it is to leave your dog(s) behind when you travel. At our house, they'll feel loved, secure, and will ALWAYS have a vacation of their own. *Our hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30am - 7:00pm Friday 6:30am - 6:00pm Saturday-Sunday 8:00 - 4:00pm *We do not accept unneutered males. *We require proof of all vaccinations. Pick Up Policy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An overnight boarding reservation is for a 24 hour period. For example, if you drop off at 6:30am on your drop off day, pick up will be at 6:30am on your pick up day. However, you can extend the stay for that day by paying an extended stay fee of $20. *Your dog must be spayed/neutered, housebroken, and get along well with other dogs. *Please arrive ON TIME. When a client is late, we then have to reschedule the rest of the daily appointments in order to not have them overlap in our living room.

Katherine kept my Molly for two weeks. She was the first sitter I used in Huntsville since I moved here. She took great care of her and sent daily updates and pictures. Molly loved the stay and was worn out when she got back home from all the socialization with other dogs. Great fenced back yard as well
First time leaving my two loves of my life with katherine and Jeremy. Katherine sent a lot of pictures throughout their stay. It was apparent that my two were having a safe and fun time. Trust them, so much so that I just booked a 10 days vacation stay with them and that speaks volumes!
This experience was SO much better than kenneling our spoiled pups! I got lots of pictures while I was out of town and my whole family enjoyed viewing them each day. I felt like Toby & Stella received just as much love and attention as they do at home.
The dogs had a blast and I loved all of the pictures! I would definitely book again and I highly recommend!☺️??
