I’m Katharine and I love dogs! They’re extremely caring and emotional, which I adore. I enjoy spending time with furry pals because they are comforting and each one’s personality is genuine and lovable. I love being a pet sitter not only because I want to be around dogs more, but because I believe all pets deserve loving attention while their humans are away. Being a part of RoverGO allows me to work with other animal lovers and help keep doggos happy. I have owned four dogs in the past, three of which were abandoned by their previous owners, and the fourth being homeless at birth. Working with these dogs was a challenge, but they are the most loving creatures I have ever met. My dogs range in size, the smallest being a Chihuahua mix, the largest being a Husky, the strongest a Pitbull and Great Dane mix, and the most active a Border Collie mix. This allows me to confidently handle any range of dogs from my clients. I also love dogs of every personality, size, or breed so the more the merrier! In addition to dogs, I have also cared for chickens, ducks, goats, fish, caged birds, and cats. I would be happy to lend my skills and experience to any of these animals on Rover! Just let me know what works best for you. I know how hard it is to be away from our fur babies, so I provide trustworthy, consistent, and communicative care. I’ll be sure to send you lots of pictures and videos to show how your pup is doing. I will also follow your care instructions to a ‘T’ because you know your pet best! I respect my clients for trusting me with their pups and will be reliable, flexible, and available whenever they need. I live at Loyola's Lake Shore Campus, so we could go on walks along Lake Michigan and to neighboring parks! We also have a beach that is a five minute walk from campus. I love staying active and your pup would be welcome to join me on any adventure.
