Hi, My name is Kate and I've grown up my whole life around cats and dogs. I love them! I have dogsat for many different breeds of dogs over the past 15 years and am very good with animals. I have had a Dalmatian in the past and a Lab who lives in New Orleans with my parents and I am comfortable with any size dog. I am very active so they will get lots of exercise and play time with me! I am also very experienced with senior dogs :) just no aggressive dogs please! I am a psychologist so I have an extensive behaviorist background and training is a natural part of my day when caring for dogs. I am currently working from home full time so I can assure that your pet will get lots of attention and care! My apartment is spacious with a patio on the ground level and I live across from a park where I frequently go on walks. *Also, just to keep things clear: For overnight guests, if you are not able to pick up your pup by 12pm after the overnight stay, I will charge a daycare rate of $30. You may then pick up your pup anytime before 8pm that day. Thanks!

Kate was an awesome sitter. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos and updates during our stay. She definitely put my mind at ease about leaving my doggo (in very good hands).
Kate did a fabulous job with Stitch. He loved her. She was very accommodating with scheduling and was clear in communication. We'll be back.
I had a knee operation and was not able to walk my dogs. One of the dogs can be a bit challenging. Katie was wonderful with the dogs and made the dogs feel comfortable. Highly recommend her.

Let me know if your pet has special needs or if there are behavioral things I should know such as excessive leash pulling, aggressive behaviors, frequent barking, chewing behaviors, incontinence, etc. I typically don’t allow pets on furniture or sleeping in my bed.
A typical day
In between my scheduled patients I like to go on walks. Your pet would be able to come with me anywhere I go and I dont like to leave pets alone for more than a couple of hours.
