Pet care experience
I started a dog walking business at 9 years old, and grew up with dogs of all sizes all my life. I am familiar with caring for senior pets and distributing medication since I volunteered at shelters in high school and had a dog sitting business too. I am most familiar with larger breeds like Labs, but I also have experience with smaller breeds. If your pup(s) needs socialization, I can take them to dog parks or play groups with your permission, and I can can let them play with my 3 pups. If your dog needs lots of exercise, I can also take them for runs, long walks, and hikes. Most of all, I can provide the love and patience you give to your pup, that way they’ll be comfortable while you’re away.

Katelynn was wonderful with my dog and my in-laws' diabetic dog. She was prompt, provided cute photos, and was so sweet with my anxious pup.
Katelynn took such good care of my pups while we were out of town. She played fetch outside, even though it was super cold, and brought some indoor stimulation games. She was super great with communicating and send many pictures! We will definitely rebook when we need someone to watch our pups again!
Katelynn was fantastic! We could tell our dogs liked her from the moment they met her. She was so kind and sweet with them and gave them so much attention. She sent us daily updates with pictures and was always quick to respond back to us. We will definitely be using her in the future to watch our pups! Thanks again!

For Homesitting & Drop-ins: I work from home most of the week so that allows me to keep a close eye on your pets. I am sure to respect boundaries you set for your pet and prevent them going into any areas they are not permitted and ensuring they are safe inside and outside. If I am unsure of a situation, I’ll message you a question, or if I have any difficulty dealing with a situation and am unable to reach you in time, I will use my best judgment and contact you. Boarding: I live in a very secure apartment and will keep an eye on your pet. I have my own camera where I can sneak a peek at my pups if I have to leave the house for an errand and would be happy to share that feature with you so you can check on your pup during their time with me.

I do not have any breed preferences, however, I would like to know the following: (You don’t have to answer all questions but if something sticks out, let me know) - Does your dog have any triggers (something that causes them fear, aggression, anxiety) - Is your dog leash reactive (if so, to what?) - What commands does your dog know? - How long would you like me to exercise them - What training methods are they familiar with? ( I use reward based training on walks) - Are they potty trained? - Is your pet spayed or neutered? - Does your pet have any health concerns or allergies? - Anything else, you believe would help me provide the best care for your pet
A typical day
I will take your dog where you would permit me. Whether it be your neighborhood, to the beach, or on a hike. I also have several balls and toys to play fetch and mentally stimulating puzzle toys for when we need to stay inside. I will ask for you to provide treats to ensure your pets get what they are familiar with and what you are comfortable with. If not, I will ask if I may offer treats and give any ingredient info for pet parents to decide.

Availability
I work a hybrid schedule and work from home most of the week and have to go into office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I live 5 min away from my office so I have the flexibility to go home for potty breaks. I live right next to a trail and dog park so I would have the ability to ensure your pup is exercised throughout the day if you don’t have a yard, or have flexibility in my work schedule to take your pup out in the yard to play several times a day. For kitties, I have a cat tree and several interactive toys to keep a curious cat entertained.
