My primary reason for signing up with Rover is my love of dogs. Dogs have always been a part of my life and a true passion of mine. I own two corgis and due to my love for them, I created the Michigan Corgi Club which has brought together 3,000 people! I would love to share my love of dogs with people who need help caring for their own.

Katelyn is literally the best. She has house sit our 8 week old puppy several times while my husband and I traveled for work and she’s so fantastic. Not only is she flexible, reliable and very sweet, she’s so amazing with our puppy Buckley. As new dog owners who travel a bunch for work we were so nervous how to train our dog and how to make an adjusted schedule work. Katelyn has literally been the single answer to that and she gives amazing advice on how to curb barking and puppy biting. Truly so lucky to have found her - don’t think twice about hiring her!!

I live in a home in Haslett and do have a fenced in yard. I do own two corgis of my own and they are friendly, however, they are only comfortable with smaller sized dogs.

I am happy to plan meet and greets to meet you and your dog(s) prior to an appointment. Some things I would like to know prior to pet sitting would be the dog’s personality/quirks, if they get along with other dogs, their feeding routine, their potty routine, and anything else you feel I would need to know about them. I do not have any breed preferences and am open to watching all dogs.
A typical day
Currently, I take my corgis for walks around the Lake Lansing area. I would be open to walking your dog anywhere you’d like, or if you’d prefer, I would be happy to take your dog to a park, the dog park, etc.

Availability
I recently started working full time and would love the opportunity to continue to provide Rover services whenever I am able. I am available most weekends for boarding, housesitting, drop in visits or walks. I am also available during evenings.
