Pet care experience
I have taken care of any family pet since I was allowed to! I've had dogs from a Yorkie to a Great Dane and have experience working and training them, and i have 2 guinea pigs that I care for every day. My primary goal is to make sure that your pets have the best experience possible while you are away! I have been a pet sitter on different occasions for family and friends, which includes feeding, playing, walks, and making sure the dog is where they need to be at bedtimes. I am a college student at UCA studying Environmental Science! Because of my various classes, I will have a flexible schedule around dinner time every day. Greeting my pets when I get home is the highlight of my afternoon! I immediately let them out to go to the bathroom and then spend lots of quality time with them by playing with them, giving them exercise with toys, and of course giving them lots of pets!

Katelyn did great with my very large, very skittish dog!
Katelyn has watched my 75 lb pitbull/boxer breed multiple times for my husband and I. She is very attentive getting to know my pitbull's needs and has even been able to have him in her home with a few cats. He has never been around cats before and is very curious about other animals which causes him to scare them. She does a great job at mediating the situations and is more than able to keep him clean and happy. I would recommend any day!
Katelyn took great care of our pups! She was there exactly when we asked her to be and sent plenty of pictures too.
Katelyn has watched my pitbull/terrier/boxer mix on multiple occasions and he always comes home very happy and healthy. I've had bad experiences with other boarders where my dog would come home stressed and sick... but he LOVES staying with Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn is trustworthy and patient and handles my VERY energetic dog well =) I would highly recommend using Kaitlyn as your dog's caregiver.

The first thing I do when I enter my client's home is greet their pets and let them outside. I remain outside with the pets for as long as they need in order to go to the restroom and get some energy out! When we come back inside I check for a note on the fridge unless my duties were specifically in our messages and feed them and give them water as the client requests. The rest of the visit will include play time and lots of attention before I let let out one last time just in case and pack up to go! All things are re locked as they were when I enter and upload all of the pictures I took during the visit before I leave.

Please let me know if your medium to large dog is typically hyper on walks (harsh pulling on leash, tries to run when brought outside).
A typical day
Walks will include a half-way water break and of course plenty of outside stimulation such as sights and smells. Walk pace will depend on the dog and I am able to run if you specify that you and your dog typically enjoy that kind of exercise!

Availability
I'm currently on a college-life schedule so I have plenty of time both on week days and weekends! On weekdays it will be easiest to do afternoon visits, however weekends are free game and I'll be available at any time morning or night.
