I began working at a greyhound rescue at the age of 7 in Massachusetts, riding horses at age 5, fostering at age 8 and so on from there. I believe my furry and not-so furry friends not only enhance my life but they have contributed in ways I can barely begin to express. I was a vet technician for a few years, I have trained horses for appx. 10 years. I enjoy a challenge and I just get a kick out of the phrase "this one is no good" Time, patience & positive reinforcement coupled with good ole fashioned love is the key to most of the "untrainable" "not fixable" & must be put down "problem" animals. I currently have 4 dogs & 2 horses of my own. 4 of those are rescues. I am a huge bully bred enthusiast as well. Being a Pit Bull owner myself! I just love them.
