I understand how difficult it is to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Nevermind leaving over night, that can get upsetting for any animal & their owner. Dogs I think especially. I have owned two dogs. My first dog, a shit-zu that my mom bought me in high school. She ended up getting very attached to my mother. Now I am the proud puppy mama of a gorgeous, smart, excited and playful Goldendoodle, named Rory! She turned one in August. When we adopted her this past December (2016), at first she was a bit of a handful. I brought her to puppy training classes every week on Saturday morning for 6 weeks. She was the biggest puppy in the class and during the sessions & with practice. Some of the basic commands were,“sit, come, wait, off/down,( if they are a jumper like mine.) Myself and Rory practiced with small group learning the same- some caught on quicker than others. Also learned about potty training and loose leash walking. I would treat and care for him/her as it was my own of course. My availability would be after my full time job, therefore my hours of availability during the week 4-9p.m., along with weekend availability as well for overnights, walking, etc. I will be/am have freetime currently every weekend to walk or dog sit.
